Briefly
I just graduated from Cornell University, so my adult life is now starting. I learned how to play the piano, and I’m a pretty decent singer. I’m 21 years old and a Leo. I’ve got a great mom who is always there for me. A brother who’s decent and a father who is….
I wouldn’t be classified as a web novice, maybe a moderate, do not call me a “newbie,” that is annoying. I started seriously creating websites in Nov 2005. I read tutorials and picked stuff up as I went along. I think I’ve done pretty well for myself, but there’s always more to learn.
I started out on free hosts like Sitesled.com and 50webs.com. They are actually pretty good if you are starting out. They do not place ads on your site, you get a lot of control and a decent amount of space and bandwidth, but they also do not support CGI, PHP, or MySQL. When I saw that I needed more, I moved to another host that did offer free hosting and included a bunch of great features. As I continued to grow as a webmaster I got my own hosting, and here I am today. It’s really not a very interesting story.
